Scene setting: Michael Kors planted a six-piece in the middle of the room at Spring Studios. As the show was about to begin, musician Rufus Wainwright emerged, serenading the audience with Judy Garland’s ‘Get Happy’ as the models walked down the runway, before declaring, ‘I’m with her’ – her being Hillary Clinton – at the show’s finale.

Mood board: Michael Kors based his spring/summer 2017 collection on a series of contradictions; tailored jackets were put out on the runway with soft, fluid dresses. Vibrant flower prints went out in between neutral-colored, feminine suiting.

Finishing touches: Sequined embroidery completed a floral jacquard princess coat and a crepe dress. Leather belts in beige and white cinched waists created an hourglass effect.
