Dsquared2 S/S 2016
Mood board: Entitled 'Deep Surf' Dean and Dan Caten's most recent fashion outing dipped into the cool waters of the brown skinned, crispy-haired tattoo-covered surfers. These are guys who are just as happy and carefree living out of their monster-sized backpacks as they are sleeping in the backseat of a vintage station wagon, provided they have a tall-boy knit hat and an ocean full of huge swells.
Best in show: We liked the oversized anoraks that trailed to the ground like new-style sports trench coats and were paired with boxy Bermudas and paint splattered tees.
Finishing touches: Boots that looked as bulky and mountainous as snowboarding gear were tucked onto the models' feet along with shiny workout leggings, while the models' chests were covered in tangled ropes of metal and shell jewellery. It may sound weird but actually really worked.
