Dsquared2 A/W 2015
Mood board: Dean & Dan Caten's 20th anniversary in business brought out the sexy, sassy sportswear and unorthodox eveningwear for which the twin brothers are known.
Best in show: Low slung jeans pre-caked with mud were the freshest-dirtiest idea in denim we’ve seen yet - plus there were shit-kicker cowboy boots to match and fox hats that swelled to the size of igloos.
Scene setting: The staging was major, as always with Dean & Dan. Guests were greeted at Milan’s vast HangarBicocca where a huge video ran a reel of the duo’s greatest fashion show sets over the last two decades. The show then took place around Anselm Kiefer’s gigantic tower sculptures and concluded with a big bang in the form of Mary J Blige strutting the runway with the designers and models while singing her heart out.
