M/M (Paris) Carpetalogue exhibition at Gallery Libby Sellers, London

London design gallerist Libby Sellers presented a M/M (Paris) double bill this week, launching her own carpet collaboration with the design duo and a mammoth new M/M monograph.
Sellers commissioned the 'Carpetalogue', a series of four hand-knotted wool carpets, to celebrate M/M's two decades of graphic innovation. Each of the four designs has been produced in Varanasi in collaboration with Indian art gallerist Abhishek Poddar and will be available in limited editions of 12, priced from £15,000.
M/M's Michaël Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak were on hand at the launch to sign copies of M to M of M/M (Paris), a survey of their career edited by curator Emily King and designed by London studio Graphic Thought Facility.
The book covers the pair's work with fashion designers such as Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney, musicians Kanye West and Madonna and interviews with Björk, Nicolas Ghesquière and Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
