Audemars Piguet Defining Moments: Photographer Dan Holdsworth
Audemars Piguet’s interview series is all about taking the time to talk; to discuss the defining moments of a career, to re-live highlights, to tell stories and make sense of situations. In this webisode of the series Defining Moments, the British photographer Dan Holdsworth explains his fascination for the Jura’s Vallée de Joux, (birthplace of Audemars Piguet) and how his work relates to time itself.
The remote, elemental drama and harsh beauty of the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland, cradle of fine watch making and home to Audemars Piguet, was the perfect choice of location for photographer Dan Holdsworth. ‘There’s an interesting aspect to the nature of this landscape,’ muses Dan. ‘I thought the location was captivating; this element of technology and a very primal landscape conspired to create a very powerful combination for photography.’
