Lulu’s, W Hoboken — New Jersey, USA
W Hoboken's Chandelier Room has undergone an artful transformation, courtesy of New York design studio Novogratz. The newly opened Lulu's, encompassing 4,000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor space, offers expansive views of the Manhattan skyline. Here, a star roster of artists has made its way into New Jersey. Columns clad in metallic woodgrain motifs by Richard Woods perfectly counterbalance Sarah Morris' colourful geometric fabric lining the banquette seating. Meanwhile, a formidable collection of artworks by likes of Damien Hirst, Mario Testino and more, hang along a graphic black and white striped wall. The main space, meanwhile, features double-height ceilings, a 20 ft long bar, flanked by a generous terrace on one side, and a sports-inspired den with a vintage pool table on the other.
