Charcoal Tandoor Grill and Mixology — Bangkok, Thailand
No doubt bolstered by the success of its buzzing Peruvian-Japanese restaurant, Above Eleven, Soho Hospitality – Bangkok’s multifaceted interiors design and F&B firm – has this time ventured into Indian cuisine, with the launch of Charcoal Tandoor Grill and Mixology. Also located in the swish Fraser Suites Sukhumvit apartments, in the city’s nightlife epicenter, the restaurant blends a neo-industrial interior with authentic Indian accents; as such, expect dabbawallah adornments, jail-patterned perforated metal screens, and a colourful spice library bearing vintage padlocks. India-infused cocktails concocted by celebrity mixologist, Jospeh Boroski, complements the kebab-centric menu, from which we recommend the ginger, chili and coriander seasoned lamb seekh kabab, washed down with a refreshing Bollywood passion fruit cocktail.
