The only 85 colours you'll need this season

If the almost blinding colour burst display we've seen on the catwalks for S/S 2011 has taught us one thing, it's this; a slinky silhouette may win the style battle, but when it comes to the layer-dropping personality change from winter to spring, it's a garment's hue that really wins the war.
So, for W*144's fashion fest, we've indulged in a spot of colour therapy. Singling out the star-performing shades from each of our favourite fashion designers' new collection, we asked them to send us their fabric samples. These we turned into the definitive colour chart for the season, with a little help from illustrator Andy Gilmore.
To see the full result (and to test your colour perception with our optical illusion on the poster's reverse) you'll have to turn to this month's issues. But here we match the shade to the look.
