Nestled within a picturesque courtyard on Via Sant'Andrea, in the heart of Milan's Quadrilatero della Moda, Italian designer Giambattista Valli's Milanese flagship is a veritable Valli universe. Inside, shoppers will find a showcase of the designer's entire ready-to-wear womenswear line displayed alongside accessories including bags, shoes, furs and jewellery. They can also take advantage of the store's exclusive, exotic leather skins service, which allows clients to place custom orders for bespoke Valli bags and shoes.
The impressive 130 sq m store, designed by Luigi Scialanga, who also conceived the Italian designer's two Parisian boutiques, includes a double-height gallery space where pink tinted walls are lined with mirrored shelves and black steel rails. Three mid-century brass chandeliers hang from the exposed wood beam ceiling, which provides a glimpse of the building's past.
