Brunello Cucinelli’s cashmere is a 2021 wardrobe wonder
The Italian luxury label's ‘Never Ending Stories’ collection features a range of covetable men's and women's cashmere pieces, from roll-necks to zip-up sweaters
Incredibly insulating, impeccably soft, utterly luxurious: cashmere has real material might. And if anything is going wrap us up against the unnerving entrance to 2021, its Italian label Brunello Cucinelli’s take on the fine natural fibre.
As part of the Solomeo-based brand’s ‘Never Ending Stories’ collection – which celebrates its most classic silhouettes – the brand has released a selection of ultra versatile, organically toned cashmere pieces for men and women. For women, think lightweight roll necks and t-shirts, which can be layered under sweaters, or sumptuously paired with loose tailoring, and for men, zip-up cashmere sweaters and cardigans, which have finessing working-from-home appeal. For video events that call for a little va va voom, the offering also features ribbed knitwear pieces sparkling with metallic yarn.
Cucinelli’s focus on timeless slow fashion aligns with our dedication to investing in classic designs that withstand trends and seasons. Cashmere may be snuggly and warming but its body thermoregulating qualities ensures that it can be worn in the summer too. Those lightweight t-shirts and sweaters will look just as chic with a linen skirt or chinos when the warmer weather rolls around.
