Jon Danielsen Aarhus

Danielsen Aarhus’ work consists of small houses in rural settings, in the Nordic tradition of architects such as Jensen & Skodvin, whose work he describes as ‘grounded, natural and simple’. His first project, Cabin Ustaoset, was completed in 2016. ‘It is often said that the craftsman thinks with his hands, and I believe I often do the same,’ says the young Oslo-based architect, who develops his ideas by building a series of models.
