TOG is the latest buzzword to circulate in the lead-up to Milan’s Salone del Mobile. The new furniture brand has been shrouded in secrecy, making it one of the most highly anticipated launches of this year’s fair.

On Monday 7 April, Grendene, the Brazilian manufacturer behind Melissa and Ipanema shoes, will preview the TOG collection during a live feed on The broadcast will feature a live round-table event with some of the most sought-after designers in the industry: Sebastian Bergne, Jonathan Bui Quang Da, Sam Hecht + Kim Colin, Ambroise Maggiar, Nicola Rapetti, Dai Sugasawa and Philippe Starck.

Those designers are just some of leading creatives behind the 21 new families of TOG furniture – all manufactured in Italy, with Italian suppliers and Italian expertise. But they can’t take all the credit. TOG furniture is a collaborative effort between the designer and the consumer. Each piece is designed to be customisable, so that only the client can make the final decisions.
