Saint Laurent S/S 2016

Mood board: Casting Courtney Love as muse, while also seating the paparazzi magnet in the audience, Hedi Slimane's spring show burst out of Love's 1990s boudoir all silken slip dresses and Hole-era tiaras.
Scene setting: Artificial intelligence was the concept behind the show’s set design, which featured a rotating robotic cube constructed with stage-like strip lighting that later lit the way for Slimane’s grunge glam offering.
Best in show: Picking up where the creative director’s 2013 Saint Laurent Grunge collection left off, this season reminded us of the seductive ease of a simple lace slip teamed with an oversized men’s biker. And in the same undone way the designer’s bias cut column gowns are sure to be red carpet catnip for stars who'd also prefer to dial down the tizz.
