Mood board: Michael Kors played with several themes for A/W 2017, his first being a ‘sensual strength,’ according to the show notes. Life in the big city also influenced his collection, seen in urban staples like the puffer jacket, and sarongs and kimonos, which had a more cosmpolitan feel.
Best in show: The furs Kors created were some of the most luxurious pieces in the collection, especially an electrifying fuschia and black fur coat composed of fox and mink. An oxblood leather trench was sexy, yet strong, evoking the very mood Kors set out to capture.
Finishing touches: Sweaters were styled as scarves, while belts were added to many looks, cinching waists on dresses and coats. Shiny metallics balanced out the collections other motifs, like warm camel tones and wild leopard spots.
