Lala Berlin’s Mitte concept store

Founded in 2005 by designer Leyla Piedayesh, German ready-to-wear brand Lala Berlin has set up home in the city's vibrant Mitte district. The 120 sq m flagship store showcases Lala Berlin's effortlessly cool collections as well as accessories from a selection of carefully handpicked designers.
The store's design comes courtesy of architect Amir Abadi of Neoplan AO, who has also designed numerous catwalk sets for the label. The interior plays with contrast, pairing white washed floors with dark timbers and a raw concrete wall with shining brass rails. Black, Cubist-inspired display blocks are supported by angular steel frameworks that create a network of shelving and rails. Along the back wall, an angular black mass, conceived as a cluster of 'black diamonds', houses the changing rooms
