Scene setting: Tommy Hilfiger created an Instagramfest-cum-carnival, called the ‘Tommy Pier’ at New York’s South Street Seaport. The playful scenario worked and worked for legions of Tommy social media fans.
Mood board: A lot of the collection was dedicated to the Tommy X Gigi spinoff – the designer’s collaboration with supermodel Gigi Hadid. The chunky sweaters, peacoats and moto jackets that went out on the runway are staples that every woman should have.
Best in show: A sheer, flouncy nautical print navy gown was carefree, effortless and chic all at once.
