Mood board: Cool and completely undone, Alessandro dell’Acqua delivered another hit for his indie label No 21. This season the designer went nuts for the men’s shirt, cutting it into all manner of dress, apron, blouse and overall easy-going top. He even brought back the white t-shirt layered under lace slip dresses – a classic 1990s move that felt 21st century fresh.
Best in show: The best looks in this show are the ones every girl will want to wear every day next summer. Case in point? Dell’Acqua’s perfectly judged khaki two piece 'suit' made from a safari-like shirt and matching mini skirt with flirty pom pom trim in the same basic hue.
Finishing touches: Dell’Acqua makes some of the most coveted footwear for the cool-girl set. Next season, his faithful followers will be strutting around in tribal-esque leather sandals brandished with fringe and pom poms and worn with dad’s slouchy socks.
