Sportmax A/W 2016

Mood board: Sportmax took a decorative turn from its usual all-sober style this season, introducing a Moroccan inspired exuberance that suited the brand beautifully.
Best in show: Covetable pieces popped up everywhere in this wearable show but the outerwear was especially intriguing. Patchwork leather and suede coats looked like giant slabs of Moroccan tiled flooring, while sweeping military-inspired coats had larger shard-like appliqués or squiggly stitching.
Finishing touches: The Sportmax woman strides along at 100 km/hour in no-nonsense footwear. This season she wore slow sloping leather shoes with octagon shaped heels in spicy red or tangy orange.
