Mood board: Skin-tight camouflage print cargo pants provided the basis of a new Dsquared2 uniform which turned out to be a layering fest of Victoriana elegance and gritty army gear. Jet beading, puffed velvet sleeves, tribal embroideries and plenty of military jackets all jumbled together in a rousing new chorus for this brand's typical off-office wardrobe.
Best in show: Dsquared cut some mean, uber-long sober silk taffeta skirts but the real show stoppers were the outerwear pieces. Mountainous coats and cropped jackets embroidered with intricate clusters of coloured thread and metal rivets were trimmed in rows of carefully cut fox fur.
Finishing touches: The clothes were ready for the street but the accessories were black tie bound; stiletto-heeled sandals were piled on with bright tassels and braiding, sexy fishnet stockings featured swirling patterns while jet beaded evening bags reeked of formal evening wear.
