Versace A/W 2015

Mood board: Donatella Versace’s cooled-down approach this season - less boobs, less legs, less nakedness in general - had red hot effects on her final product. Shrunken bomber jackets worn with perky kick skirts set the cleaned-up, but still sexy mood.
Best in show: Our favourite moment of this entire show was at the finale when, instead of the usual parade of spangled, deeply plunged and slit gowns, we got a sassy parade of glittering appliques forming graphic VERSACE letters on short dresses or an evening top worn with - get this - pants!
Finishing touches: When the models weren’t wearing thick tights, their tawny legs were covered up by a fierce set of over-the-thigh boots sewn up in sunny lemon suede or in shiny patent leather shades of green apple or red cherry.
