Mood board: Philipp Plein gathered a band of warrior girls in boxing gear and mink backpacks (the size of refrigerators), rocker chicks in skin-tight patent leather leggings and furry chubbies, and washed them all in plenty of attitude to match.
Finishing touches: The hard-core girls wore flat silver buckled motorcycle boots and high top sneakers with soles that lit up in the sort of multi-coloured flashing that the kids will love. Black fox fur stoles spelled out PHILIPP in big white intarsia letters.
Scene setting: Philipp Plein is quickly becoming Milan's boldest showman, out to out-do even himself. He followed up his men's boxing ring fight-knit with Snoop Dogg this past January, with a real roller coaster that spun inside Milan's ex-Fiera with a bunch of rowdy models on board. If that weren't enough to seal his reputation as the party-thrower, he had rapper Azealia Banks open the show with a live performance.
