Mood board: The British high street brand set out to elevate English country classics for A/W 2015 with its signature good-time panache. Tweed overcoats were pimped out in faux fur, plaid kilts slashed to the thigh, while corduroy was cut into the season's ubiquitous Seventies flare as wild dandelion stems found themselves knitted into body-hugging skivvies. The brand, which lost its long-time design head Emma Farrow last year to head up contemporary newcomer Finery London, stated their intention to restore the sensation of luxury to everyday pieces. As for the show's racier patent macs and ostrich feathered cocktail numbers - which outfitted this season's 'posh bird' protagonist - they will no doubt be a real conversation starter in home county pubs and beyond.
Scene setting: Topshop put its stamp on the Tate Britain as its elegant Millbank base camp, from which to host its impressive roster of Newgen talent this season.
Best in show: The cocktail series of floral jewelled black velvet mini dresses that were scooped out at the back and looking for trouble.
