Diesel Black Gold A/W 2016

Mood board: There wasn't a gold or silver stud in sight on the Diesel black gold runway, which was swept this season of all of its usual wanna-be rocker accoutrement. In its place were pared down, fabulously sporty clothes in multiple layers and shades of navy and black.
Best in show: The outerwear was terrific in this collection. From beefy navy anoraks to cape-like curly shearling coats and quilted nylon bombers jackets, the top half of every look had a clean sporty feel that gleaned with good taste.
Finishing touches: The accessories in this show kept the looks anchored in Diesel's urban roots. Lace-less military boots, crinkly roll-up backpacks and strap-on, cross-body bags were all utility friendly extras that had just the right, light touch of the underground.
