Meridiani House in Milan is a showroom that feels like home
The newly styled Meridiani House at Milan’s Corso Venezia 29 is conceived as an elegant living space specific to its local context

In partnership with Meridiani
Meridiani House, at Corso Venezia 29, Milan, is not a conventional furniture showroom but a creative and conceptual project – an apartment comprising multiple living spaces, entirely furnished with the Italian brand's collections, conceived and curated by designer and art director Andrea Parisio.
The project showcases Meridiani’s discreet elegance, and creates a dialogue with professionals and design lovers in the intimate context of a real home. Adaptable and aesthetically fluid, the Meridiani House concept has a broader, more imaginative scope than a regular corporate space. The intention is that the format is replicable in partnership with international customers and retailers in different cities all over the world, yet is customisable to local styles.
In essence, Meridiani House is a real-life, experiential version of the brand’s concept book, Storie di Case, which features five homes in five different locations, furnished with Meridiani products. Each home has its own creative flavour, reflecting the personality of the residents and highlighting the versatility of the company’s designs.
With this inspiration, the rooms of Meridiani House on Corso Venezia are the result of a restyling by Parisio; intense chromatic notes act as a counterpoint to delicate background shades, classic pieces sit alongside more recent designs, and soft forms contrast with more geometric profiles.
Careful design and positioning in the living areas maximises natural light and the sense of space. The living rooms are furnished with Meridiani’s ‘Oscar’ sofa collection in white and ‘René’ in pink, together with ‘Nora’ armchairs, the ‘Hector’ sofa and the ‘Plinto’ table in shades of beige and cream, while the new ‘Wallis’ storage unit, in cherry glossy lacquer and with concave sides, brings a sense of formal order and structural neatness. In the sleeping area, in addition to a ‘Wallis’ unit in sage, the new ‘Jeanette’ armchair finds its place, while the maxi-headboard of the ‘Tuyo’ bed wraps three sides of the room.
In the dining room, the ‘Hubert’ table and the ‘Judd’ coffee table bring a green accent to the room, which opens towards the outside area that’s home to the new ‘Vincent Open Air’ modular sofa and the ‘Fabien Open Air’ coffee table, with a glazed lava-stone top.
The innovative Milan showroom is just the starting point of a new international adventure for the brand. Next up, Meridiani House Copenhagen will make its formal debut during the city’s annual 3 Days of Design festival, 12-14 June 2024, and will offer a similarly immersive introduction to the Meridiani aesthetic.
Meridiani House, Corso Venezia 29, 20121 Milan, Italy. There is also a Meridiani store at Via Alessandro Manzoni 38, 20121 Milan, Italy
