Net-a-porter kicks off two-week beauty festival
The ‘Beauty of You' digital platform features tutorials and at-home treatments from some of the industry's most beloved names

From this week to 25 January, Net-a-Porter is hosting a digital beauty festival featuring talks and tutorials with some of the most popular names in the industry.
Titled ‘The Beauty of You,’ the program will feature a shoppable IGTV ‘Call The Expert’ social franchise, as well as IG Live, Reels, and TikTok videos.
The festival is split into four chapters, with the second ‘At-Home Spa’ chapter kicking off tomorrow, followed by the ‘Skincare’ chapter from the 17-20 January and the ‘Colour & Trends’ chapter from 21-25 January. Each chapter will see a panel of industry experts offering video tutorials with pro-tips and at-home treatment techniques.
Highlights include a talk with Dr. Barbara Sturm about developing a personalized skincare routine, a lesson in maintaining hair health with Charlotte Mensah, and a tutorial on refreshing your regimen for the weekend with Tata Harper.
The program is the most recent example of how the beauty industry has been forced to pivot in the past year, with a greater focus on at-home tutorials and self-care practices, as well as easy access to experts that might have otherwise maintained a more distant social presence.
That kind of accessibility and DIY ethos are key consumer priorities in the wake of 2020, and ones which platforms like Net-a-Porter will no doubt continue to experiment with through digital programs like ‘Beauty of You’.
The full Instagram Live program can be found on the ‘Beauty of You’ section of Net-a-Porter’s website, with all of the video content available on IGTV following the initial broadcast.
