Custom covers contributor: Kam Tang

Kam Tang contributed an arresting array of patterns in strong colours to our application. Along with Darren Wall, the artist also came up with the Handmade stamp - inspired by historic wax seals - which branded the August issue's newsstand cover and the disparate products in the magazine, as well as designed illustrations and posters for our 'Wallpaper* Handmade in Italy' exhibition. Known for his fantastical but intricate linework, Tang's extraordinary images have fronted album covers for the likes of Gnarls Barkley and the Chemical Brothers, as well as featured in projects for the London Design Museum, Nike and Adidas. Tang is represented by Big Active.
