Pritzker Prize-winning architect and Wallpaper* Design Awards judge Wang Shu is a bold new voice in contemporary Chinese architecture, offering a creative vision far removed from the starry superstructures that have come to characterise the country’s scene. Wallpaper* and Bentley present this short film on the work and philosophy of the Hangzhou-based architect, who works in close partnership with his wife, the architect Lu Wenyu, as Amateur Architecture Studio.
