In Partnership With Morgans Originals

As travellers increasingly look beyond the Cyclades' best-known islands, Paros has emerged as one of Greece's most compelling destinations. Opening its first hotel on the island in August 2026, between the coastal villages of Naoussa and Aliki, Luura offers a different perspective on luxury Mediterranean hospitality. The new brand from father-and-daughter team Elie and Sophie Khoury was founded through the family’s Dubai-based company Vivium, and its properties join the Morgans Originals collection of one-of-a-kind independent hotels, marking the latter’s Greek debut. More than a place to stay, Luura invites guests to discover the people, landscapes and traditions of its locations.

Discover Luura Paros Cliff

Shaped by a multigenerational vision for hospitality rooted in art, design and culture, Luura Paros Cliff was designed by Elastic Architects, with interiors by Lambs and Lions, drawing on the timeless simplicity of Cycladic architecture. Its whitewashed buildings unfold across the clifftop landscape overlooking the Aegean, their thick walls and softened edges creating spaces that feel carved rather than assembled. Each of the hotel's 39 suites opens onto a generous outdoor terrace, while selected suites feature private pools.

The Khoury family's appreciation for art is woven throughout the hotel. Curated with independent advisor Artemis Baltoyanni, the collection brings together works from the family's own collection by international artists including Francesco Clemente, Claire Tabouret and Tschabalala Self, alongside Greek artists Sofia Mitsola and Kostas Paniaras, as well as new commissions created especially for the hotel. Throughout the interiors, artworks, bespoke furniture and locally crafted ceramics sit naturally within a restrained palette of plaster, timber, linen and stone, the resulting spaces feeling calm, grounded and comfortable.

Beyond the hotel, guests are encouraged to engage more deeply with Paros. Ceramic workshops with local artisan Maria Economides, whose bespoke pieces also appear throughout the guest rooms, offer an introduction to the island's craft traditions. Boat excursions, visits to nearby farms and seasonal culinary experiences are a chance to connect with its landscapes and producers.

The hotel’s dining options include Lenea, offering a contemporary Mediterranean menu shaped by seasonal ingredients and local traditions, as well as the Greek debut of Mimi Kakushi, bringing the award-winning restaurant’s interpretation of Japanese cuisine to Paros.

Wellness follows the same philosophy as the rest of the hotel: slowing down and connecting more deeply with self and place. Treatments developed with a Greek herbalist use bespoke essential oil blends of bay, oregano, bergamot and chamomile, while movement sessions, sauna and cold-plunge contrast therapy, and other restorative practices are also on offer.

With future openings planned for Paros’ New Golden Beach and Athens, Luura's ambition extends beyond a single destination. ‘We believe the future of luxury is about seamlessly belonging – arriving somewhere and feeling you can explore its most authentic core,’ says Sophie Khoury, founder of Luura and head of hospitality at Vivium. At Luura Paros Cliff, Paros is not simply the setting for a stay, but the starting point for a deeper connection to the island.
