Jason Wu A/W 2016
Mood board: While known for his love of femininity, Jason Wu kicked things up a notch this season with sky-high hemlines, open back details and plunging necklines for a razor sharp edge.
Best in show: Fabric embellishments made the simple silhouettes really sing. Whether it was delicate feathers sewn onto coats, pencil skirts and dresses that danced delightedly in the wind or fluorescent yellow and fuchsia embroidery that brought navy blue tunics to life, it was clear that for Wu, the devil is in the details.
Finishing touches: Fur collars worn wide, almost resembling epaulets, gave the power-woman collection of an urban warrior feel.
