Mood Board: Julien Dossena’s urban sign language led us from the city - in zip-up trapeze shapes - right back to the house’s archive as he experimented with the founder’s legendary penchant for moulded plastic. Not to say that Dossena skipped out on last season’s sporting prowess, there were jogging pants a plenty – updated with transparent speed stripes – while his harnessing took the form of waistcoats whose draw tabs formed a graphic spine from behind.
Best in show: Dossena’s plastic disc chain mail faded from black to flesh to khaki and cobalt blue, worn with an olive overcoat that dialled down any association of glitz.
Finishing touches: The Parisian’s pointed boots, with a floating Lucite heel, had our attention from the get-go.
