Fendi S/S 2017

Mood board: Fendi’s men were as cool and crisp as the bright blue pool of water they strolled around in the brand’s Milan headquarters. With plenty of patchworked terry cloth, micro houndstooth and fluttering printed silk, this loose, loungey leisurewear covered high-end bathrobes to boardroom suits and everything in between.
Best in show: Great looking sportswear this season included quilted fisherman’s striped shirts that came with matching hats worn with loose corduroy trousers and a boxy dog bag. The silk pants and matching off-tone shirt jacket printed in a wild, unruly floral was a gorgeous pop within a sea of muted pastel colours.
Finishing touches: Fendi's men carried more handbags than a sea of women on sale day at Bergdorf Goodman. Apart from the purses, boxy striped tote bags with leather handles and the striped garment bags with green leather piping, there was also great looking footwear. The seasonal news is that classic loafers have slipper backs, lace up leather shoes have air hole sandal construction and colourful shower slides are the new sandals in criss cross formats.
