Axor introduces Axor Archivio, a ‘timeless’ new bathroom collection by Barber Osgerby
Blending archival references with contemporary precision, the German brand rethinks the bathroom through a language of quiet, considered design to be presented at Milan Design Week 2026
In Partnership With Axor
Axor, the design-led bathroom brand known for its collaborations with leading studios, unveils Axor Archivio – a new collection created with London-based design duo Barber Osgerby, set to be revealed at Milan Design Week 2026.
Conceived as a ‘timeless archive, reimagined’, the collection draws on familiar, classical forms and distils them into a softer, more contemporary design language. Curved spouts, gently flared bases and tactile handles define the pieces, offering a calm, balanced aesthetic that sits comfortably across interiors.
Axor Archivio will be presented during Milan Design Week 2026 and shown in the Waterway bathroom concept by Haihua Zhang
At its core is the idea of longevity – not just in durability, but in design. ‘We set out to create a new icon for Axor – an object that’s instantly recognisable and lasting,’ say Barber Osgerby. ‘The collection looks to the past while presenting it through a refined, contemporary lens, achieving a seamless balance between past and future.’

Axor Archivio offers versatile solutions across the bathroom. A signature three-hole tap anchors the collection, defined by its curved spout and softly contoured, bloom-like cross handles, while single-lever and wall-mounted options offer variations in height and proportion. For the bath, a freestanding tap acts as a sculptural focal point, complemented by wall-mounted spouts and three-hole configurations.

In the shower, the collection extends into both concealed and exposed systems, including overhead and hand-held showers, coordinated sets and a porter unit – a comprehensive approach that allows for flexibility without losing visual coherence.
The launch forms part of the brand’s ‘Escape the ordinary!’ campaign, which explores how thoughtful design can elevate everyday rituals. As part of the brand’s Milan showcase, Axor Archivio will be presented alongside the Waterway bathroom concept by Haihua Zhang – a serene, immersive environment that frames water as both a functional and sensory experience.

Together, they underline the design brand’s central proposition: bathrooms not just as utilitarian spaces, but as highly personal interiors shaped by material, atmosphere and flow. With Axor Archivio, that vision is expressed through restraint – a collection defined by the quiet confidence of its details.
