Prada Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger

Prada Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger

We make little disguise of the fact that we’re ardent fans of Prada’s fragrances. We awarded Infusion d’Iris our ‘Best Fragrance’ in the 2008 Design Awards and subsequently got a little giddy for the men’s version, Infusion d’Homme later on in the year. Now there’s a new scent from the same perfumer, Daniela Andrier – Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger – and, predictably, we’re smitten.

Infusion de Fleur d’Oranger is the first fragrance in Prada’s new Ephemeral Infusion Collection – a limited edition family consisting of one fragrance a year – derived from Prada’s Exclusive Scent range which houses our other favourites.

Following the artisanal approach of focusing on natural ingredients, the scent is a combination of orange blossom, neroli, mandarin oil, jasmine and tuberose – a heady floral combination that make for a surprisingly delicate, uplifting smell, perfect for Spring.

As usual we’re suckers not just for the contents but for the packaging also, which plays on the mix of floral notes, translating them into a bouquet of pink and orange stems and petals set against a rich green background.
