Australia’s Art Series Hotel line has just launched its sixth property, which this time celebrates the life of expressionist painter, David Larwill. Located in Melbourne, each of its 96 guestrooms – or workspaces – and communal areas are enlivened by the artist's signature bold, bright vision, with a range of his giclee prints featured throughout the property and his 2006 artwork ‘Remember Me’, taking centre stage in the lobby. But art isn’t the only focus at The Larwill Studio; as part of the commercial precinct adjoining the Royal Children’s Hospital, wellness is also a key factor with sketchbooks in each of the rooms, an in-house yoga channel on the television and Lekker bicycles at hand for exploring the neighbouring Royal Parklands- also the setting for a daily running group led by the hotel manager.
