Toasting America: Wallpaper* hosts dinner to celebrate US Bespoke Edition

There’s nothing like sharing good news with close friends and so ahead of today’s official reveal of our newly minted Wallpaper* US Bespoke Edition, we invited an intimate group of design folk out for dinner late last week in New York City. Hosted at the continually cherished eatery ABC Kitchen, we broke bread with some of our cross-Atlantic kin, including architect/artist Gaetano Pesce, lighting designer Lindsey Adelman and hotelier Jason Pomeranc, while perusing our larger format, US-focused edition.
In his introduction for this exciting endeavor, Editor-in-Chief Tony Chambers said, ‘It’s lovely to see some old friends here, and even lovelier to make some new friends. In fact, that’s what this project is about – the Wallpaper* US Bespoke Project will be bringing 250,000 new friends to the Wallpaper* world in print, and upwards of a million digitally.’
Indeed, the US Bespoke Edition will feature a specially chosen selection of stories drawn from our international edition, and be delivered directly to the homes of new readers across the US four times a year. Chambers added, ‘As you can see, it’s a substantially larger format than our global newsstand edition, so that content is even more impactful than ever. You know what they say, size matters!’
Digitally, there will also be a spotlight shone on architects, designers, hotels and other creative occurrences from around the US than ever before. With an official launch party set for this week, it’s a pretty wonderful way to celebrate our 200th issue, if we do say so ourselves.
