This design competition rethinks curtains as art – enter now
The Twopages X Design Contest 2026 is a chance for emerging and established creatives to see their concepts commercially realised and win a prize of $10,000
In Partnership With Twopages
Established in 2025, the Twopages X Design Contest has transformed the humble curtain into a global platform for creative collaboration. Intended to bridge the gap between design, craftsmanship and real-world production, the initiative is guided by the ethos ‘make imagination happen’, giving emerging and established creatives alike the opportunity to see their ideas evolve from concept into commercially realised collections.
Returning for 2026 – with entries now open until the end of June – the annual competition once again invites entrants to rethink window treatments through this year’s theme, ‘Curtain as Art’. Divided into the categories of canvas, architecture and emotion, the brief encourages participants to explore how curtains can shape atmosphere, express identity and function as objects of design in their own right.
The first-place winner of the competition’s 2026 edition will receive a $10,000 prize. The award ceremony will take place in mid-September, where a new wave of designers will demonstrate how the curtain can move beyond functionality into the realm of art and interior expression.
The six finalists from the 2025 Twopages X Design Contest
Last year’s finalists demonstrated the breadth of creative approaches possible within the medium. Among the top six were Sabrina Ramkhelawan and Rebecca Hughes, whose collections were later developed into co-design product collaborations with Twopages. Ramkhelawan’s work explored the tenderness of everyday life, drawing on childhood memories and the organic flow of nature through hand-painted forms that brought warmth and movement to each piece. Hughes, meanwhile, created a collection shaped by motherhood, faith and intentional living, incorporating hand-embroidered textiles, folk-art traditions and the imperfect charm of block printing.
Inside the 2025 Twopages X Design Competition finale
Alongside the resulting collections, the 2025 showcase highlighted the sense of community fostered throughout the competition, positioning the initiative not simply as a design challenge, but as a collaborative platform connecting creatives with production expertise and a global audience.
