Philipp Plein A/W 2015
Mood board: Belligerent gangster boys, toting black baseball bats, were padded up in black croc leather and ready to rumble at the Philipp Plein show.
Finishing touches: This was a nearly all black outing but the hoodlums sparkled literally from head to foot with black rhinestone crusted footwear and silver metal studded backpacks that looked like dangerous, gleaming weapons.
Team work: Who better to help Plein weave his tough street story than the original gangster Snoop Dogg? The rapper came onto the stage’s caged boxing ring for live pre and post show performances. Just in case we missed the bad boy message, Plein also threw in a live kickboxing match and a circle of menacing masked men who clubbed furiously at empty gas cans as drum beats.
