Best Business hotels 2011

Brown TLV Hotel, Tel Aviv
Address: 25 Kalisher Street
Tel: 972.3 7170200 (Israel)
Website: www.browntlv.com
Opening date: October 2010
Rates: From $195
Business amenities: Meeting room and business centre with 24-hour multilingual concierge and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. The meeting room can hold around 20 people in a boardroom style with the possibility of catering.
Rooms: The hotel's décor is inspired by the 1970s, so its 30 rooms are furnished with retro-style pieces and painted in a warm brown and green colour scheme. All rooms come with Italian black marble bathrooms with walk-in showers, desks, cable television, cell phone and laptop rentals.
Leisure: The spa offers Swedish, deeptissue, reflexology or hot stone massages; a Jacuzzi tub; and a rooftop terrace. The hotel's welcoming Living room café and bar has a library and complimentary Wi-Fi access.
Restaurants: The restaurant, which will serve authentic Israeli fare, is not yet open. For now, guests are served breakfast in the nearby Café Birenbaum, Nana Bar and Espresso Bar.

Entrepreneurs Leon Avigad and Nitzan Perry of Leopard Hotels are aiming to inject Tel Aviv with a dose of hospitality hipness, starting with their first launch, the perfectly located boutique hotel Brown TLV. They are currently developing hotels across Israel, in architecturally important buildings or in historically significant neighbourhoods. Bau TLV opens next year in a meticulously renovated Bauhaus gem; a further four Tel Aviv properties are in the works.
