The ‘haute couture’ of outdoor furniture, Exteta’s latest designs blur the line between indoors and out
The Italian company explores a seamless approach to outdoor living through immersive installations, expanded collections and a new collaboration with French architect Maxime d'Angeac
In Partnership With Exteta
At Milan Design Week 2026, Italian outdoor furniture specialist Exteta reaffirmed its position as a leader in high-end outdoor design with a dual presentation that celebrated a lifestyle where the distinction between indoors and outdoors all but disappeared. The installations showcased Exteta's evolving vision of outdoor living through new collections, expanded product families and a major design collaboration.
Exteta's 'Oscar' dining table
Founded in the heart of Brianza, Exteta has spent nearly two decades redefining the possibilities of outdoor furniture through a distinctly Italian approach to craftsmanship and design. Rooted in exceptional materials, bespoke finishes and artisanal expertise, the brand has consistently elevated exterior spaces beyond conventional garden furniture, creating collections that bring the elegance and comfort of interior living into the open air. This philosophy continues to position Exteta as the haute couture of outdoor living, where authentic beauty, refined aesthetics and effortless comfort meet.
For the latest collections, continuity takes centre stage, reflecting Exteta’s inherent dedication to authentic beauty. This vision comes to life through a perfect blend of form, comfort, and durability, grounded in ethical production and a profound dialogue with both nature and architecture. The result is a cohesive, timeless design language – one that continuously evolves with new creations while effortlessly maintaining its core harmony and balance.
Exteta's 'Mochi Twist' family of chairs
Studiopepe extends its ‘Modernista’ collection with a new stool and sun lounger, continuing the range's distinctive dialogue between exposed stainless-steel frames and generously upholstered forms inspired by modernist architecture. The ‘Shell’ collection has also grown, with the introduction of a modular sofa, balancing structured leather detailing with relaxed comfort, while the playful ‘Mochi’ family welcomes new swivel chair, armchair and stool designs that retain the collection's soft, sculptural character.
Among further additions is the ‘Oscar’ dining table, a sculptural outdoor design distinguished by cast architectural legs softened with gently curved profiles.

Elsewhere, Exteta continues to strengthen its connection with the nautical world through the expansion of the Exteta x Riva collection, which draws inspiration from the craftsmanship and materiality of Riva's classic boats.
This year also marked the debut of Exteta's collaboration with French architect Maxime d'Angeac. His new ‘Al Mare’ collection joins the brand's catalogue and was presented ahead of its inclusion aboard the Orient Express Corinthian, the first sailing yacht from Orient Express, further underlining Exteta's growing presence across luxury residential, hospitality and marine projects.
Together, the new collections reflect Exteta's enduring pursuit of beauty through exceptional materials, meticulous craftsmanship and bespoke design. Rather than treat outdoor furniture as a separate category, the brand demonstrates how carefully considered design can create fluid environments where architecture, nature and everyday living exist in harmony. We’re excited to see what the brand has in store for next year’s fair.
