Craig Green envelops his show guests inside a dark grid system for his A/W 2018 show

For his A/W 2018 show earlier this week, London designer Craig Green took inspiration from tents and flags. Items that wrap and swaddle have always intrigued the designer. Beach mats and ecclesiastical carpets have also made his reference check list, and last year Green even collaborated with Stepevi on a colourful ceremonial rug for Wallpaper* Handmade. For his most recent show, Green enveloped his guests inside a dark show set, created from graphic panels of opaque black fabric, which lined the walls and hung like a suspended maze from the ceiling. Bright beams of light shone from intersects in the design, and as the show began, models walked within these walkways, they too becoming immersed within its grid system.
