Han Feng
Han Feng is one of China's most sought after fashion and costume designers. Critically acclaimed for her costume design of Madame Butterfly (directed by Anthony Minghella) and The Bonesetter's Daughter, she’s currently working on the costumes for Handel’s Semele, and in film for the Kung Fu Kid remake, directed by Harald Zwart and starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith (Will Smith’s son).
Born in Nanjing, she graduated from the China Academy of Fine Arts in Hangzhou in the early 1980s. She moved to New York City in 1985 and launched her first ready-to-wear line and New York boutique shop in 1993. After much success in the US she returned to China in 2006 and is now based in Shanghai. She currently travels regularly between her China and NY homes.
