Wallpaper* Animation Competition
in association with Barbican and IdeasTap

Inspired by the Barbican Art Gallery’s major summer exhibition and event programme, Watch Me Move: The Animation Show, wallpaper.com, partnered up with IdeasTap and the Barbican, and undertook a worldwide search to uncover the finest, brightest and boldest young animation talent around. A panel of experts whittled the submissions down to a shortlist of six and we left it to you to choose the final winner.

The votes are now in and, at a special screening event at the Barbican yesterday, we crowned Lottie Kingslake with our Wallpaper* Readers Choice Animation Award for her surreal tale of a theatrical flower seller who tells the story of a memory-less mountain man as part of an elaborate sales pitch.

For Chris, the driving factor behind and commitment to his work is the anticipation of the viewers reaction to the physical realization of the ideas in his head.
