The making of the 'Clerkenwell' jacket by Wallace Sewell, Gieves & Hawkes and Designtex

Bringing together great textile brands, we paired Wallace Sewell's upholstery fabric with Gieves & Hawkes' tailoring know-how

Tasked with making a jacket out of Wallace Sewell's bold new upholstery fabric collection for Wallpaper* Handmade 2014, Gieves & Hawkes chose to create a boating jacket out of 'Clerkenwell'. This striped wool sateen fabric is made in collaboration with Designtex and woven at the Hield Brothers textile mill in West Yorkshire.
