Daniel Arsham brings his vision of the future to life

The artist's latest offering comes in film form, in four chapters. Check out the trailer for the surreal third instalment here

As one half of the experimental design practice Snarkitecture, and an art world fixture in his own right with his evocative sculpture work, Daniel Arsham's talents know few bounds. The artist's newest creation comes in moving form - a nine-part series of visually arresting short films entitled 'Future Relic', which will become a full-length feature film in 2016. The film's first four chapters, Future Relic 01-04 recently debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival. These instalments showcase Arsham's vision of a post-apocalyptic world where the Earth's climate is no longer stable. Starring Juliette Lewis and James Franco, among others, the immersive, surrealistic films bring Arsham's stylised dream-like world to beating life.
