Soho Farmhouse — Oxfordshire, UK
Bringing together the same winning formula that has worked so well for the Soho House group thus far, the show has now been transported to Oxfordshire, where urban charm has been applied to a 100-acre retreat. Centred around a series of 18th-century farmyard buildings, accommodation comes in the form of 40 one, two and three-bedroom wood cabins scattered along banks of a lake, as well as a restored seven-bedroom farmhouse and a four-bedroom cottage. The interiors possess that distinctive contemporary Soho House gloss, while looking to upstate New York for inspiration. Guests can expect to find floors lined with reclaimed timber and ticking fabrics mingling with bespoke and antique furniture, as well as custom-made range cookers and fridges finished in a shade of green co-designed by Nick Jones. Onsite amusements are plentiful, and in totality give the feeling of a luxurious self-contained village, with electric tuk-tuks and bespoke Foffa bicycles on-hand to ferry guests between an onsite pub, deli, screening room, cookery and cocktail school and a heated indoor-outdoor pool. This being Soho House, there is, of course, an obligatory Cowshed spa — here, kitted out with steam and sauna rooms, and an ice bath — for when one reaches peak joviality.
