Already housing a series of spaces including a television studio, screening room, live performance area, restaurant and lounges, the addition of 15 new guestrooms, was a no-brainer for London’s long-standing member’s organisation, The Hospital Club. Occupying a former 18th century hospital, the venue –which has undergone a series of makeovers throughout the years – is home to the city’s media community, providing a creative hub in which they can shine. Once again enlisting the skills of designer Russell Sage, the rooms take their queue from the rest of the club and incorporate Sage’s signature British aesthetic. As such, expect clean lines, warming woods, plush materials and cheerful pops of colour. Each room showcases the work of a chosen artist from Domic Beattie to photographers Jacob Love and Rick Guest, while other highlights include a nightly cocktail trolley and private terraces for each suite. Available to non-members, guests have access to the club’s facilities and a full programme of events such as chef master classes.
