Located in a house dating back
to the early 1900s in which the infamous Mundo Bizarro bar functioned for many years, this bears all the hallmarks of architect Rodrigo Cunill, one of the designers of the city’s best boutique hotel Home. He has created a lounge bar that brings back all the spirit of the old neighbourhood tavern but with a contemporary twist.
The façade of the two-storey space is covered in dark grey paint with access attained through a zinc door painted
semi-matte red, while the huge windows are partly covered by micro-perforated aluminium blinds that are manually opened with a chain, just like they used to be at the old bars in the area. On the ground level, the smooth concrete floor sports comfortable armchairs alongside other modernist furniture.
