In 1983, Andrée Putman created Morgans, the world’s first boutique hotel. She redesigned it in 1996
and has done it again for the hotel’s 25th anniversary. The changes are minimal, such as blending in more soft greys and natural tones to lighten up the black and white look. The lobby has been refreshed with 1930s furniture by Jean-Michel Frank and a light installation by French firm Trafic, while rooms feature wool armchairs, Corian tables, La Notte lamps and Emeco’s lacquered aluminium chairs.
