Fab 40: Les Thermes Marins, Cannes
When Nathalie Esclapez decided to create the 1835 White Palm Hotel she was determined to bring fresh style to the Croisette. Revamping the old property, with the help of interior decorators Marc Hertrich & Nicolas Adnet, not only did she turn it into a stunning design spot in the heart of Cannes but she also added a 2700 square metre state-of-the-art thalassotherapy centre, accessible from the hotel through an underground passage.
Comprising 46 booths, the Thermes Marins de Cannes offer a wide range of treatments – including anti-aging, detox, and slimming – as well as high-performance beauty care. Taking guests on a global journey of the senses, body and mind treatments include a Japanese onsen bath, a Scandinavian sauna, a tropical underwater shower, and a Turkish hammam. The heated seawater pool overlooks the sea and runs from a vast glass atrium to an outside deck enclosed with bamboos hedges.
