The new Argentario Golf Resort &
Spa in Tuscany attempts to reinvent the traditional country sporting hotel. Externally, it is atypically understated.
But once in the main hall, the full extent of owner Augusto Orsini and interior designer Andrea Fogli’s vision is clear. This is where Gehry and New York Industrial meet Big-Game plywood
deer trophies to create a distinctively contemporary take on Tuscan luxury.

The Damadama restaurant offers organic local produce with classic Tuscan
origins, revisited by dynamic young
chef Emiliano Lomardeli. There are seven suites with stunning sea or pool views
and 66 junior suites on three floors
with golf course views. The Gallery suite, featuring a country setting, will appeal
to design lovers, thanks to chrome antlers in the bathroom, resin floors, vintage furniture and a calm white bedroom overlooking olive trees on the terrace.
